General Hydrostatics, from Creative Systems, Inc., is the
industry-standard numerical hydrostatics computational suite. It
offers the ability to simulate intact and damage stability for extremely
complex vessels, floating cranes, and multi-body interactions.
ShipConstructor provides production lofting, nesting, build strategy
development, and assembly drawing automation for steel and
Aluminum structures.
ALGOR, marketed by Autodesk, is a full-physics-capable Finite Element Analysis
(FEA) program. CME uses the structural modules to perform detailed stress analysis
for design optimization.
Rhino3D, from McNeel Associates, is a 3-d CAD modeling program that provides the
ability to build 3-dimensional models rapidly. It provides the front end for GHS,
ShipConstructor, and ALGOR, and is the primary source of design documentation until
a design is ready for 2-d production drawing and detailing.
NavCad, from HydroComp, is a program used to estimate the resistance and propulsion
characteristics of vessels ranging from heavy-displacement tankers to high-speed
planing craft.
Moses, by Ultramarine, is used to compute seaway motion response, as well
as for current and wind forces.
We also use several key pieces of software developed in-house, such as
the SpeedboatPerformance high-speed planing craft resistance/propulsion
program.
